First things first, a big thank you to everyone who has been checking out my work, commenting on it and adding it to their list of favorites. It has been over a year since I have put anything up, so (for those who have been watching me for a while) you may have noticed a "slight" change in my gallery. "Slight" meaning I have deleted pretty much all of my old work and am starting from scratch. The reason for this is that I have changed a lot since posting my first deviation all those years ago. I have finished my degree in Fine Arts, gotten married, and am still trapped in university, studying to become a high school art teacher, all the while still making art. On top of all of these changes I have developed, artistically speaking, and my skill/style/ideas have changed drastically. I felt that those old pieces no longer represented my work accurately, or myself personally, and decided to replace them with what I am currently working on. If I could change my Deviant name as well, I would, since I rarely listen to Iced Earth anymore. Oh well. In a nutshell, this is what has been happening with me: Marriage, Art, and School. Neato.

All this being said, I will keep posting my work as I make it. I hope that we can have many funny/enlightening/uncomfortably awkward conversations about it and other things in the future.

ps. In addition to all of my changes, I have noticed a few changes in deviantart since my hiatus. The most notable one - Paying for a subscription to give people critiques? What's up with that? Sorry, but I don't think you should need a subscription to do that, which, technically you can do in the comment section anyway. This just seems like a sales pitch to me. "Buy a subscription and you can click these shiny buttons!" That part of deviantart hasn't changed...
